Rise & Shine was started as a home for those who want to harness their hope, anger, sadness and fear and use it to build change. As individuals engage, learn, grow, change and lead, so does Tennessee.

We know that we Tennesseans have untapped creativity, passion and love to safeguard the wellbeing of everyone, especially our youth.

When the civic process is complicated, it’s hard to engage. Rise makes it easy to get involved.

We are here to unleash that creativity.

The more we learn, the more we understand the process of policy making, voting, and democracy, the more we create a Tennessee that is safe, free, and thriving for all.

Slowly as we volunteer and learn more about how democracy works in Tennessee, we become informed and we involve our friends and family, so that this really is a state representative of everyone here.
